London Borough of Bexley Grammar Schools
The schools are selective with a distance based admissions system (except for the top 180 students). Places are allocated as follows: a qualifying mark is specified for each year. The top 180 students are guaranteed their first choice school. Then the remaining places are allocated by distance from the school.
Children attending schools in Bexley will sit the optional tests in their own school unless it is an Academy or faith school that does not offer the tests in school. In this case, children will sit the tests at one of the grammar schools. Children from schools outside Bexley will sit the tests in one of the grammar schools.
